Kristi & Kent |
|
I was born in Ohio, to hard working parents, the youngest of five children. I now live with my three wonderful children
in beautiful Southern Illinois. My husband, Kent, was recently called home to be with our Lord. He is
sorely missed, but I know we will meet again. It is the Cherokee way to never say, "Good bye", Only, "Until We Meet Again"
When I am not working or writing, I may be found working on family history. I am proud of my family my
heritage, including a mixture of English, Irish, German, and Cherokee. My family roots run deep in American history,
with ancestors dating back to the early settlement of the Virginia Colony, and before with my Cherokee ancestors.
Recently, I felt that the Heavenly Father was calling me to write a story, sharing my faith
and my heritage. This all started when my mother suggested that I write a story about a person in my genealogy research,
any person. I chose my 3rd great-grandparents as the inspiration for a fiction novel.
Special Recognition:
I am thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ for His presence in my life, the blessings He gives, and for the talents
He has given me. I am also thankful to my friends and family for thier love and support.

God Bless America!
Stand beside her, and guide her, through the night with the light from above.
From the mountains, to prairies, to the oceans white with foam, God bless America, my home sweet home!
